What we collect

When you create an account or enter a competition we collect: name, email, password (hashed), phone number, postal address, date of birth, and (for paid entries) Stripe payment metadata. We do not store full card numbers — these are handled directly by Stripe.

How we use your data

• To process competition entries and contact winners.
• To detect fraud and comply with our legal obligations under the Gambling Act 2005.
• With your explicit consent, to send marketing emails about new competitions.

How long we keep it

Account and order data is kept for 7 years for tax/audit purposes, then deleted. You can request earlier deletion of marketing data at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your data. Email hello@inkgiveaways.co.uk to exercise any of these rights.

Third parties

We share data with: Stripe (payment processing), our email delivery service, and our cloud hosting provider — all bound by contract to handle your data securely. We do not sell data.
